Settings

The Settings page is organized into tabs. Some tabs are available to all users, while others are restricted to organization admins.

Personal Settings

Manage your profile information and email preferences.

• First Name / Last Name -- Your display name across the platform.
• Phone Number -- Optional contact number.
• Email -- Your login email (read-only). Contact support to change it.
• Email Preferences -- Toggle notification categories on or off. See Notifications for details.

Account Settings (Admin Only)

Organization-level settings managed by admins.

• Organization Name -- Your company or team name.
• Organization Slug -- A unique identifier (cannot be changed after creation).
• Address, Phone, Billing Email, Tax ID -- Billing and contact information used on invoices.
• API Keys -- If your organization uses Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), configure provider API keys here (Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google).
• Enforce 2FA -- Require all team members to enable two-factor authentication.

Account Users (Admin Only)

Manage your team members and invitations.

• Invite Users -- Send invitations by email. Choose a role: Admin (full access) or Member (limited to own projects and read-only org settings).
• Team Members -- View all users, their roles, and status. Admins can reset a user's 2FA if they lose access to their authenticator.
• Pending Invitations -- Resend or revoke invitations that haven't been accepted yet.

Application Settings

Personalize how XC Scribe looks and feels.

• Language -- Choose from 30+ languages. The interface updates immediately.
• Theme -- Switch between Light, Dark, or System (follows your OS setting).

Security Settings

Protect your account with strong authentication.

• Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) -- Enable via authenticator app (TOTP) or email codes. See Security for setup instructions.
• Change Password -- Update your password. Must be at least 8 characters.

Plugin Integrations (Admin Only)

View active WooCommerce and Shopify plugin integrations. Plugin projects are created automatically the first time your store calls the Plugin API with a valid API key.

• Active Integrations -- Shows connected plugin projects with integration type and connection date.
• API Keys -- Use any API key from the API Keys section above to authenticate plugin requests. Keys are organization-wide, not tied to a specific integration type.

Data Privacy (Admin Only)

Manage your organization's data in compliance with GDPR and privacy regulations.

• Export Data -- Download a copy of all your organization's data. See Data Privacy for details.
• Delete Account -- Request permanent deletion of your organization and all associated data.
