AI Studio is a custom AI solutions service built into XC Scribe. Instead of using the standard content generation features, AI Studio lets you describe a unique business challenge and receive a tailored AI workflow built specifically for your needs -- powered by the same XCT token system.
What Is AI Studio?
Think of AI Studio as a bespoke development service for AI-powered e-commerce workflows. If the standard content generation doesn't cover your use case, AI Studio bridges the gap between off-the-shelf automation and fully custom development.
You describe your idea, choose a budget range, and the XC Scribe team scopes, quotes, and builds the solution for you.
Example Use Cases
AI Studio can tackle a wide range of e-commerce challenges:
- Competitor Price Monitoring -- Automatically compare your product prices against competitors and receive actionable insights and alerts.
- Smart Product Tagging -- AI categorizes and tags your entire catalog based on descriptions, images, and attributes.
- Content Localization QA -- Verify that translated content is accurate and matches the tone and cultural expectations of each market.
- Custom Workflows -- Any unique challenge specific to your business. Describe your idea and the team will scope and build it.
How to Submit a Request
- Navigate to AI Studio in the sidebar.
- Click Request a Quote.
- Fill in the request form:
- Description -- Explain your idea in detail. Include what problem you're solving, what data is involved, and what the expected outcome looks like.
- Budget Range -- Select one of four tiers: Under $500, $500--$2,000, $2,000--$5,000, or $5,000+.
- Exclusivity -- Choose between Standard or Exclusive (see Pricing below).
- Click Submit. You'll receive a confirmation and the team will begin reviewing your request.
Pricing Models
AI Studio offers two pricing tiers:
- Standard -- Lower cost. The solution may be offered to other customers in the future. Choose this if you're comfortable sharing the innovation.
- Exclusive -- Premium option. The solution is built exclusively for your organization and will never be offered to anyone else. This gives you a competitive advantage and IP protection.
The budget range you select during submission is an initial estimate. The actual price is determined during the review phase and provided as a formal quote.
Tracking Your Request
After submitting, your request appears in the My Requests section on the AI Studio page. Each request shows:
- Status -- The current stage in the pipeline (see below).
- Budget Range and Exclusivity type.
- Submission Date.
- Comment Count -- How many messages have been exchanged.
Click on any request to expand its details, view the full conversation thread, and add new messages.
Request Statuses
Your request moves through these stages:

| Cancelled | The request was cancelled. |
Communication
Each request has a built-in comment thread. Use it to:
- Ask questions about the quote or timeline.
- Provide additional context or clarification.
- Receive updates from the XC Scribe team.
You'll also receive email notifications when:
- Your request status changes.
- The team posts a new message on your request.
You can manage AI Studio email notifications in Settings > Email Preferences.

How are AI Studio solutions billed?
AI Studio solutions are powered by XCT tokens, the same currency used for content generation. The token cost depends on the complexity and scope of your custom workflow.
Can I cancel a request?
Yes. You can communicate through the request's comment thread to discuss cancellation at any stage before delivery.
How long does it take?
Timelines vary based on complexity. Simple automations may take days, while complex workflows could take weeks. The team provides an estimated timeline along with the quote.
What happens after delivery?
Once delivered, your custom AI workflow is available in your account and runs using your XCT token balance, just like standard content generation.
